UNFPA hereby solicits a quotation for the following service: “Provision of Meri Blouses for Midwives Day, 2023”
The International Day of the Midwife is celebrated each year, on 5 May, to recognise the contribution of midwives to the safe and respectful care of women, mothers, and babies around the world. To recognise the midwives of PNG, UNFPA is hosting an event to give back. We are seeking services for the provision of meri blouses to share with midwives for this event.
This Request for Quotation is open to all legally-constituted companies that can provide the requested service and have legal capacity to deliver in the country, or through an authorized representative.

Meri Blouses
Pieces: 60
Colour: Purple (Pantone 265, 268, 269, 272, 2607 or similar)
Sizes: S, M and XL or similar range to suit variety of sizes (Size specification varies on maker’s size charts. Precise numbers can be negotiated with UNFPA).
Must have pockets.

The deadline for submission of questions is 20 October 2022. Questions will be answered in writing and shared with all parties as soon as possible after this deadline.
Content of quotations
Price quotations should be submitted by e-mail or in-person before COB on 23 October 2022. Quotations must contain:
- Completed Price Quotation form.
- Sample of material intended to be used for meri blouses.
Please note that following receipt of price quotations, UNFPA will request a sample of the meri blouse to verify print quality and adherence to RFQ specifications.

Quotations should be prepared based on the guidelines above, along with a properly filled out and signed price quotation form, are to be sent by e-mail or in-person to the contact person indicated below no later than: 23 October 2022, 5:00 pm PNG Time.

Please note the following guidelines for electronic submissions:
The following reference must be included in the email subject line: RFQ Nº UNFPA/PNG/RFQ/22/143. Proposals that do not contain the correct email subject line may be overlooked by the procurement officer and therefore not considered.
The total e-mail size may not exceed 20 MB (including e-mail body, encoded attachments and headers). Where the technical details are in large electronic files, it is recommended that these be sent separately before the deadline.
Vendors who provide a competitive Price Quotation Form will be invited to submit a sample of the printing for review. Vendors who are not able to provide a sample will not be considered.
